Now in our 6th year, we honor deserving members of the Asian American community, the unsung heroes, the shining stars, the selfless leaders at the 2014 Asian American Heroes of Colorado Awards Ceremony.

Each hero will be presented a certificate of recognition and be featured in the May cover story of Asian Avenue magazine. There are two special awards: Lifetime Achievement Award and Young Hero Award (under age 35).

Each year, heroes are selected by a committee comprised of members from OCA Colorado, Asian Chamber of Commerce, Asian Avenue magazine, Mile High Japanese American Citizens League, Colorado Asian Pacific Youth Association, Asian Pacific Development Center, Colorado Asian Culture and Education Network, and National Association of Asian American Professionals – Colorado, Asian American Journalists Association and Theatre Espirit Asia.
