Family Foraging Foray in Nederland

You're invited to a Family Foraging Foray with Cindy

NEDERLAND, CO 

(We will email registered participants before, we will be on Cindy's private property which is a 6 minute drive from downtown Nederland to give you an idea)

Event Details:

- Meet at 8:30 am at Chipeta Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Fd6jDSCoEH9mfdhA7?g_st=ic). We will consolidate cars and caravan to Cindy's property (there is only room for 5 cars, we will figure something out if it's tricky!). If your car will be full, please let us know. - Enjoy a walk through the woods as Cindy highlights and educates our group on edible plants (it's a bit early for mushroom season, but we'll see what we can find!) Foraging comes with it's own risks, if you are not comfortable eating wild things that's okay, it's still a great way to identify plants and move/observe with intention in the outdoors.

- Bring water, sunscreen, hats. We will have bug spray, paper bags for findings, extra sunscreen, snacks and tea.

We will get a few snacks to enjoy with tea, if you have an allergies please let us know!

PLEASE NOTE: Our intention and funding for this adventure is to promote outdoor activities with families and youth/young adults up to 24 years old. We will be prioritizing registration for families youth/young adults. If you don't fit this description still sign up and we will reach out if there's space available the week of the foray to register you.
